– There is no pre-set limit to team sizes

Can't find the info you want here?

–  More info and help is available at support

Choosing a start time

– The start times available will be for a group of Rebound Racers that will start the course at the same time (if you want to run with your mates – get them to choose the same time! See above under the rego tab.)
–  Limiting numbers for each time period helps prevent bottlenecks at the start and throughout the course, ensuring everyone’s fun and safety
– You’ll need to show up at your chosen start time.

Kids not running the course

If you’re bringing any kids (0 – 12yo) with you that aren’t running the course, you’ll need to organise an adult to stay with them for the duration

Each location will have different arrangements for parking and transport – we will advise registrants of this the week before, in the pre-event email

Arrival time

We suggest arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your start wave time – park, check-in, find your mates, take some pre-foamed photos…

What to wear

–  Shoes! You must wear shoes. Think a bit grippy, but not spikey. Think joggers…or sneakers…or runners. Oh, you know what we mean.
– Something you can run, climb and slide in, not too loose/baggy or you’re liable to get tangled in it
–  If you want to amp up the fun: gear up in costume! Get a team theme going, corporate colours or just pile of randomness that someone dreamt up.
–  Your race bib or armband, once it is assigned to you, pinned to your front/strapped to your wrist so that it’s clearly seen on the course

What not to wear

–  High heels are not recommended, nor is anything that might deflate our awesome inflatables
–  Anything that will restrict your ability to move about the course and to tackle the obstacles safely, including loose/baggy clothing
– Jewellery – leave it all at home so it doesn’t hurt you, and neither do you lose it

What to bring

–  Must bring: ID for entry on the day
–  Optional: a towel (yes there’s water, have you not seen the photos?!), a change of clothes, ID (for packet collection), sunscreen, and extra cash (parking, food, merch, etc.)
– If you bring your mobile phone, which we don’t recommend, you are 100% responsible for its wellbeing – there will be water, foam, sliding and slipping…awesome fun for humans but not for phones

What not to bring

–  Pets, BBQs, coolers and glass containers are not allowed at Rebound
– Anything else dangerous, please, be sensible
– Any valuables
– If you bring your mobile phone, which we don’t recommend, you are 100% responsible for its wellbeing – there will be water, foam, sliding and slipping…awesome fun for humans but not for phones

Bag drop

–  There will be bag drop available free of charge for your convenience
However, while we will have a system in place matching you to your bag, we are not responsible for any personal property anywhere at the Rebound venue or carparks etc. More legalese on this is available via the event waiver signed during registration.

Bad weather

–  Rebound will operate in any weather that is still safe to do so – you get wet on the course anyway 🙂
–  If it’s deemed unsafe (lightning storms, government weather warnings) we will advise you as soon as possible via your registered email and Facebook

Race timing

Rebound Race is untimed and the fun unlimited! You don’t have to run but you can if you want to!

Race your mates, race the clock or just spend your time bouncing around the course.

Skipping an obstacle

We encourage you to try as many of the obstacles as possible. Trust us: They. Are. AWESOME!

But we want you to have fun, and if that means skipping an obstacle that isn’t for you, then do so.

Can’t make the event (original date)

–  If you sign up for the awesomeness that is Rebound, then it’s up to you to make sure you can attend.
–  You can, however, transfer your ticket up to 3 days before the event to another person via your Active registration – it’s important they add their details to Active to ensure they’re covered by their own waiver – and the age rules as described under ‘REGISTRATION’ still apply
–  You can also transfer your ticket to another event, just log back into your Active registration and follow your nose to transfer to another Rebound Race event

Can’t make the event (rescheduled date)

In the unlikely event we have to reschedule Rebound Race due to weather or other emergencies and you can’t make the new date:
–  You are welcome to transfer to another event if you’re still keen and able to make it – just email us at and we’ll help you fix that up
–  Likewise, you can transfer your ticket to another person…email us

Rebound Race is an all-weather event! In the case of extreme weather or any other large-scale emergency, event management will advise all registrants of the event status.

Temporary cessation of event

–  If Rebound Race is suspended for a short period during event day, affected registrants will be issued with a new wave time , within the same category if possible, but not guaranteed.

Postponement of event

–  If Rebound Race has to be suspended for the whole day/whole event, it will be rescheduled to occur within the following 90 days.
